Our little Rootin' Tootin' Cowgirl

Alli is our little chunky cowgirl-got to start early with the cowboy hats :). Alli is at a really fun stage right now, her favorite thing is to play with her tongue (as you can see down below) she just wants to lick everything that comes anywhere near her mouth. One thing that is kinda good and kinda not is Alli does not like binky's-she hasn't since she was 8 weeks old. So she has developed another form of entertainment-sucking on her mouth, her hands, your hands or anything that comes near her mouth:) Alli is getting so big and is developing quite the personality, she loves to laugh, play, and talk A LOT! When she wakes up from her naps you can just hear her talking and giggling to herself with that cute baby jibber jabber-we love it! Each stage that she goes through is so exciting and fun to watch! She has discovered her hands and loves to stare at them and she can actually hold things now-which fascinates her :) We love our little "Alli J-ster!"

Can't get enough of this sweet thing...

Alli just loves her tongue-it entertains her which is nice, we are considering measuring it because she can stick it out so far (she can actually touch it to her chest :)

Whoa there...and yes she loves to eat EVERYTHING that comes near her mouth too

Loves to giggle...

Alli is also learning how to sit on her own-kind of...

Holy Cow I am already 1/2 way to 50!

Yep, I turned the big 25, its official, I am no longer in my youthful 20's :) I always have liked my birthdays (who doesn't right?) presents, dinner, cake, money sometimes...lots of fun. Brian and my mom are awesome gift givers, I always like what I get and it usually is a surprise too (which I also like). We went out to my favorite restaurant Outback and of course I got the Outback special 6 oz cooked medium with green beans and a sweet potato. (I just thought you would all want to know what I ate on my birthday j/k) Anyways, when Brian got home from school there was a tornado warning and the wind was howling and hail was pouring down so we thought we might have to cancel my birthday plans, but luckily it passed and a beautiful rainbow decided to pop out and wish me a happy birthday!

While the storm was going on I decided to open my presents...I always wait till the end of the day so the suspense lasts longer :) I got a Cricut from my lovely parents-awesome! I have wanted one of these forever because you can make and do so many fun things with them my mom shipped it all the way from Utah. Thanks mom and dad! Brian gave me lessons at the Apple Store because I got some programs for our Mac computer and I can have one on one lessons to learn how to run them for 1 whole year-saweet and he got me what I have wanted since I was pregnant with Alli, a Jogging stroller! I was way suprised! He had it in the garage so I wouldn't see it and it was raining and hailing, but I couldn't wait to see what he had gotten me so I ran outside to the garage just to see what it was, it was well worth it :)

Brian caught me in the act of coming back inside from the storm

Me and Alli I'm still holding out not opening my presents so Brian took a picture instead :)

The sign that I am holding says that my stroller is outside in the garage down below is a picture of what it looks like...

Anywho after we went to dinner with our friends Dave and Steph, Josh and Krystal, Lundon Adrienne & little Benson we went over to Dave and Stephs and she made me cupcakes with candles -thanks Steph-and we played Rock Band-which if you haven't played is very addicting because you want to get a really good score! It was lots of fun and I'm glad we have such great friends to spend our time with when our families are away! Thanks guys for a fun night!

Jammin'...

This is our friend Krystal-thanks for babysitting while Brian and I played :), Alli looks wasted because she was, it was way past her bedtime, but she was a good girl while we jammed to "Beat It" by Michael Jackson and "Eye of the Tiger" :)

Winter Winter go away...

I am sick of the cold and snow, I get like this every year, but since moving to Ohio it's really bad. Last year was the blizzard of the century-and I had to go to work that whole weekend that it snowed (I was the ONLY car on the road with no lanes and was traveling at about 10 mph in my little honda civic-I didn't like that) This year there has been some really bad snow days, but mostly its just COLD. Like the other morning at 730 when Brian left for school it was -14 degrees. My first day back to work started out at -2 degrees, yucky! I don't like that, not one bit. I am a Southern Utah girl and I am not falling in love with the snow and stuff, uggh! Anyways since it is so cold Alli and I don't leave the house very often, we will here and there just to get out if it isn't freezin' cold, but most days we chill at home. My out is when I go to work 2 times a week which really isn't a vacation for me since I get to WORK, but I am glad I am doing it. Brian has been a great dad and bucked up and chilled with Alli on the days(weekends) that I go to work, Alli really enjoys her dad. Here are just a few picks of her lately she is a whoppin' 3 months old now, can you believe it?!

Alli J. being her cute little self-she loves her tongue :) Her new thing is to suck on her upper lip, not when she is hungry or anything, but ALL the time-you can hear her just smackin' away, its so cute I need to catch it on video sometime.

As you can see there is snow and ice...don't love it. Our truck was completely covered in ice it took Brian like 30 minutes to chip away the ice to be able to get into it, yucky!

Brian and Alli's new trick. We see how long she can balance while Brian palms her. Its pretty funny since she is quite the chunk!

Our friend Dave...they don't have kids yet, he thinks Alli is pretty sweet, he thought it was funny to try and fit her in his coat, she didn't quite make it in there, darn it :)

Alli in the hood...what up! She has decided to sleep for 11 1/2 hours for 2 nights now, isn't that fabulous! I have LOVED LOVED LOVED it :)
