April Update...

April has been fun so far. My dad and brother Rowdy were able to come out for a visit while Brian went to Miami-without us I might add for some "dental conference" he somehow came back with a tan..hmmm! Anyways, it was great to hang out with them and while they were here they also built some shelves downstairs in our storage room-way nice! Alli is now 5 1/2 months old and has such a cute and outgoing personality! We have started her on rice cereal...which she doesn't really like-we've decided its the texture because we introduced her to some veggies and she'll eat those a lot better. Its pretty funny to watch her eat-she doesn't hide her emotions at all, ha ha! A few things that she is up to these days...
*She rolls from her back to her stomach and has been doing that since she was 4 months old-she just can't get the rolling from the stomach to the back thing down :)
*She scoots on her head-she'll push her heels down on the ground and scoot herself all over the place on her head-its pretty fun to watch because she gets really excited about it.
*She loves to play and giggle...she is ticklish
*She loves to be naked and gets really excited when we take her clothes off, she gets the biggest kick out of scootin' and just being free with no clothes on, also funny to watch
*Alli puts everything and anything in her mouth, she can grab stuff and switch it from hand to hand
*She loves to kick and she kicks hard!
*She has to sleep with a blanket pretty much covering her face and has had to have that since she was 10 weeks old...
*When Alli wakes up she always grabs her toes and talks to herself in jibber jabberish and when you go to get her she gets super excited and starts arching her back to scoot and kicks her legs up and down really hard, you have to see it to get the full picture :)

Allis first rice cereal experience, not quite sure what to think...

This is how we often find Alli in the morning...

We have bought Alli some sunglasses which she actually likes...

Here is our finished shelving downstairs...makes it much nicer thats for sure-Thanks Dad and Row

Alli does this new thing where she'll crinkle her nose and breath really fast and hard through her nose, its pretty funny-I caught it while she was even dressed like a bunny-she fits the part!

Couldn't resist getting the bunny butt shot

Alli had a fun first Easter, thanks Grandmas for the $$-we'll model what Alli got later on...

March Madness and not just basketball!!

This past month has been a crazy one! We have been world travelers that's for sure. The first of March Alli and I were able to go to good ol' SG for a quick visit with my fam so they could see our Alli girl, we made it for my dad's b-day and had a good time, however, right when we got back we left that next week for London England (and fitting my work into all of this was not that fun, lots of night shifts, ugggh). We were lucky and very fortunate to be able to go and visit Barbara and Kenneth on their mission in London England. It was an amazing trip, we were able to tour all over and meet our cousins that we had never met before which was so fun! Judy and Donald are wonderful along with Adam, Kirsten, and their 3 cuties Pippa, Lola and Faye (they loved playin with Alli :). London was amazing, its history everywhere on every turn, we saw the London Eye, Tower of London, Westminister Abbey, Big Ben, Leeds Castle, Dover Castle and the list goes on and on. Our favorite parts were the castles and of course meetin' the family! It was a fast crazy trip and we were exhausted by the end, but Alli did great on the long flights and endless traveling and all went well. We were also able to do Baptisms for the Dead at the London Temple with family names that Barbara had searched and found, it was wonderful. I love the English accent and I was going to pick it up while we were there, but Brian thought that I didn't quite have it down :) Anywho here are some picks of our crazy whirlwind month of March...
