The Verdict is In...

We finally had our ultrasound!  It is always exciting, yet nerve racking to go and get this done.  Exciting in that we get to see the baby up close and personal and of course find out what "it" is, but so nerve racking for at least me because of what "could" show up i.e. defects, problems, anomalies.  Working in the NICU is great, but there sure are a lot of situations that make you worry about your own babies well being.  That being said..we finally know what we are having!  Yeah!

Here is our newest little one's profile picture-Any guesses???

Here is a 3D picture-they always look like aliens in 3D at this stage because they are so skinny:)  None of those fat bracelets are present just yet:)  The babies face is pressing into the placenta in this picture, but you can see the nose and shape of the mouth and chin/neck/collar bone etc.

Here is a thumbs up saying that its all good!  We have a healthy baby growing and we are so happy everything showed up okay!

No mistaken here-the hamburger buns are back baby!  We are expecting a GiRL!!! Yeah!  We are very excited for Alli J. to have a sister. It will be fun to have these two girlies be close in age so they can be best of friends and of course dress a like in matching outfits!:)  Alli has been so much fun for us and we just love her to pieces so we can't wait to meet this little one and add her to our family!
Here is to more pink at our house and outnumbering Brian 3:1!  Yeah for more bows and cute clothes

October happenings & Halloween

Other pics of our St. George visit a few weeks ago now...

Eating lunch in Pine Valley with the little cousins

Watching "Spirit" in Grandma Beckstrom's Room in Pine Valley with Emma...

We saw a 3 pointer on our way out from the Beckstrom's cabin...my dad of course had to get this picture

Alli loved riding her bike that Nana and Papa have at their house-she loved being outside and just roaming around as she pleased

 Practicing her Rodeo Princess wave...

Alli loved helping out with the chores...

Uncle Chanse and Jeanie trimming their latest kill-an Elk.  Yuck!

Just playing outside with Nana

Alli loved the Gator-she never wants to get out-so round and round they went

October festivities with Columbus friends...

Alli says "punkin" for pumpkin and she is obsessed with them.  She reads a pumpkin book every night before bed, but when it comes to actually touching the things, she doesn't want anything to do with them.  Interesting...

The Pumpkin Festival
Pumpkin donuts and her "seat" in the Dansie's stroller...
Brian actually won this Dora throwing a baseball and guessing the right speed...
 Alli liked her winnings...

Alli was Elmo for Halloween this year.  She loved saying "Twick or Tweat" and of course loved getting "canny" to put into her Elmo bucket

Alli had to stop and get -jiggy wid it- on our way out in the cultural hall at the church-they had music playing thru the sound system

We went to Louisville to visit The Wright's (and my Aunt Laurie and cuz Kenz) while Brian had an Ortho interview there.  We went to Trick or Trunk with the kids (Kailee has those pictures) and hung out together.  It was a fun, but very quick visit!  Hudson and alli are just about the same size.  Huddy is 9 mnths younger, and is about to surpass Alli in the height department :)

Alli's Official #2 Happy Day!

Alli had a very Happy Day for her real birthday :)  We had one of Alli's favorite meals-spaghetti-and then had some friends come over to celebrate with cupcakes and- Magic Bullet-shakes.  Alli loved "bowing da candle" out, opening presents, and "pwaying" with her friends.

Alli starts out using a fork and then just decides its easier with her hands

Opening Presents
The Blowing out of the Candle-we had to do it a few times because she would blow out the candle before we sang to her:)

We decided to give Alli a kitchen and she was SO excited!  It was great watching her reveal it-the first thing she wanted to do was "wash my hands"!  Brian was such a good daddy and stayed up till 3am putting it together:)  Who would've thought that it would take 4+ hours to do it?  I offered my services before going off to bed (at 10:00 pm), but Brian insisted it was fine and that he could handle it.  Those blisters that he got from using the screw driver were definitely worth Alli's reaction!  Thanks hun for making her day:)   It was a good laugh!

The unveiling of the Kitchen...

Alli and Davis were "hiding" and had a good time.  Alli loves to have Brian make tents so she can hide-she is always looking for someone to hide with her

Alli was so sad when everyone left...

And Lastly...

I am now 20 weeks...why haven't I had my ultrasound yet?!
Ask my Dr. :)
For some reason he scheduled me like a week after I could "technically" get one and then Brian's schedule and my work schedule made it so we had to wait a little longer than planned.  SO,  we shall find out in the next week or so what has been making me so ill-a "brada" or "sisser" as Alli says.
Don't worry, my belly did this with Alli-it will definitely get LARGE very soon because I am now able to eat food without feeling absolutely miserable-let the weight gain begin!:)
