Mom/Nana Visit

My mom came out to visit us for one whole week! Brian had finals and had to study for boards so we had lots of fun with just the girls...we went to Amish country and rode the buggies, ate their delicious home cooked food and goodies and toured the country side, went shopping, made some crafts, watched movies, and just hung out. It was fun and Alli had such a fun time playing with her Nana-she wasn't spoiled at all :) As you can see Alli had more than one tasting of ice cream which we have come to find that she loves, but if you are wondering, ice cream is not why she is so darn chunky :)

My mom in front of "The Yoder House" it is an Amish house that was built in 1866, it was very interesting to hear how the Amish live and learn a little about their history

At the end of the tour they had a kitchen full of home baked goodies, wheat bread, homemade jam, cookies etc. etc. We of course had to partake and they were delicious!

While my mom was here Brian and I had our 5th Anniversary-WOW! Time flies when you are havin' a good time together:) We still feel like we are youngins'! We were able to go out on a date to a new delicious restaurant and just enjoy a night out with just us for a few hours it was great, thanks mom for babysittin'!
