Brian made it to his 1/2 way mark for Dental school can I get a woo woo! They celebrated with a 1/2 way BBQ, it was fun to visit with everyone and meet a few more of his classmates and Professors

All the little gals together at the BBQ that are pretty much the same age- 2-3 months difference-and as you can see ALL girls-so fun! Alli is the oldest of the bunch and took advantage of that-poor little Averi lost her bink to the J'ster unfortunately when I turned my head for a split second :) Katie has a good picture of that on her blog he he

Alli and I at the Aquarium...

Alli at the zoo...she loved the monkeys when they were jumping around from tree to tree, she also loved to look at all the kids, couldn't decide what she liked more kids or animals :) (kids I think)

Adrienne and Benson came along with us to the zoo-so fun!:)

SO tired after looking at all the kids and animals at the zoo...she rarely falls asleep in her car seat so she MUST have been tired :)

Darren came to visit Brian so he could golf at the OSU dental tournament-is 7 under par good? They had a good time, giggling like little school boys all night & playing PS3 College Football j/k :) Too bad TIffany was in LONDON of all places so she wasn't able to come :(

I've been kinda crafty lately...I made Alli this outfit-I tried it out with some tester fabric-hence the weird prison looking stripes to see if I liked the pattern :) We'll see if I do it again duh duh duh

Skirts and a wallet...

Tried out a new dessert recipe-I thought it was a different take on strawberry shortcake-yum yum!

Also tried my hand at canning salsa because we had so many garden tomatoes-well I thought so many, turned out to make not very much, but hey, I tried it out and it wasn't so bad :)

Little Miss Sunshine...

Alli is now more than 9 months old! Wow where does the time go? Just a little about Alli @ this age for all the fam/friends to see...

*She now weighs 19lbs and is 27 in.-she's made it to normal levels on the charts this time-Dr. Jeff was so proud- 70% for weight, 25% for height (so she is starting to even out a little bit he he he)
*Has 4 teeth-2 on top & 2 on the bottom-she enjoys biting things and that is why we are now done with the (as my little cousin Hunter says) "boo boo's" and now she is happily chewing away on her bottle and not me :)
*LOVES people-especially kids-she will talk and yell at them until they pay attention to her-she's not demanding at all :) At church she has found a few friends and is sometimes a little too aggressive-she just wants to play, touch, and wrestle with them that's all, but they never seem sure about it, hmmmm how do you tame a 9 month old little girl who just wants to have fun?:)
*Can crawl really fast and is starting to pull herself up to things-like her crib:(
*Loves playing peek-a-boo/hide and go seek
*Waves bye bye and will clap her hands
*Enjoys feeding herself with her little "pinchers" she loves everything and anything that Brian and I eat, so our little "Magic Bullet" mixer is great-I just take a little of what we are having and blend it all together and tada-dinner!
*Loves music and dances to it by rocking back and forth on her hands and knees and if she is sitting at the table in her high chair, she will kick her legs really hard to the beat
*Favorite things are lamp/computer cords, shoes/shoe laces, tags on anything, and rocks in the fireplace-yes she knows better, but she can't keep herself away from them-too tempting :)
*Loves her baba, but won't take a sippy cup-she thinks its a toy-any tips anyone?
*Enjoys going out for walks in her stroller and will talk to herself and all the geese that are around these parts-I despise them and all their droppings, but she doesn't seem to mind.
*Loves to giggle and laugh and just have a good time-I think she gets that from Brian-always lookin for a good time :)

It has been a fun, and challenging (at times) 9 months-as parents know- but Alli is our "Little Miss Sunshine" and we love her to pieces!
