Tryin' to catch up...

We have been pretty busy this summer, I wouldn't really know with what, but it seems like we are always doing something or other. Anyways here are a few things that we have done or are doing...

We were able to go home for a few days, Brian got his braces off and I was able to have a baby shower! It was so much fun and I got tons of cute things!

Brian's STRAIGHT teeth! Yeah! He was so excited to finally get his braces off and can now look forward to working on other's teeth and hopefully become an Orthodontist himself. Thanks to Brice (his bro) for the free service it pays to have people in the family with wonderul professions/talents doesn't it....kinda like hairdressers :)

Here is a picture of just a few things that I got...I didn't take a picture of all the clothes, piles high and mostly PINK, ha ha! I LOVE baby clothes and I am enjoying getting them all ready and organized for our little Alli J. to wear! Thanks to everyone who came it was so fun...and if you can see yes, Alli has her own PINK stick horse that is made out of the cutest fabric...I loved this gift it will go perfectly with her pink cowgirl hat, ha ha! (brian is thrilled:))

Still chuggin' along with Alli's room, I just wanted to show a little progress...Brian hung the curtains! Decorations are still to come...

I am still working on the quilt...I need to tie it and bind it and then I will be done...we'll see how long that takes. I tend to get sidetracked and time is running out!

Brian planted tomato plants in his homemade planter box and they just took off, here is our first showing da da da...

Here are the wonderfully delicious results, we have been enjoying these "homegrown" tomatoes. Brian eats one everyday with salt and pepper...I prefer to add them to sandwiches etc., but they are quite tasty if I do say so myself.

It was so fun to see you and you looked so cute! I love your bedding for your nursery, those are darling colors. I am jealous of your tomatos, I think I would just kill the plant if I tried. Good thing we have good neighbors that bring us some of theirs.
